Kenzen Karate Do is a unique center for Japanese martial arts and Shotokan Karate Do.The meaning of ‘kenzen’ is (健全) ‘integral health of body and mind‘. It also refers to the martial arts proverb ‘kenzen ichinyo’　(拳禅一如)　meaning ’Karate (literally fist) and Zen as One.'      

Kenzen Karate Do is located in the center of Tel Aviv - cultural and economical capital of Israel. We welcome children (from the age of 5), youth, women and men who wish to learn traditional Japanese martial arts, build a healthy mind, and build up confidence for moments of insecurity.

All classes are held in a dojo (the Japanese word for martial arts hall) with a hardwood floor. Kenzen instructors are experienced holders of degrees from the Japan Karate Association and constantly participate in national and international seminars and competitions.
